When thinking of vintage eras I like, the 1920s were definitely high up there even though I’ve never actually owned any clothes or accessories from the 1920s. I once played a role in a high school musical version of Cabaret where we got to wear (very simple) 1920s flapper girl dresses, but you absolutely can’t compare that to this wonderful dress I was so kindly gifted. 🖤

If you had ever asked me if there was an era I didn’t think I’d style, it would be 1920s. I’ve been living with the (wrong) assumption that the lines of the 20s wouldn’t suit my hips and belly and curves, especially because those tend to be the things on display in the wrong way when I try on straighter lines that just hit funny.
